Pavarotti 10th Anniversary Tribute Concert, Verona

A special tribute concert dedicated to the celebrated late tenor, Luciano Pavarotti has been confirmed for 6th September 2017, with part of the proceeds going to charity – featuring Plácido Domingo and Josè Carreras.

Marking 10 years since Pavarotti’s death, the concert will be held at the 15,000-seat Verona Arena, a Roman amphitheatre that holds enormous opera productions as well as pop concerts.

Opera stars confirmed for the event are Plácido Domingo and Josè Carreras, who with Pavarotti won legions of fans the world over as The Three Tenors, bringing new audiences to opera and changing the public perception of opera as an art form. A host of opera and pop stars will join Domingo and Carreras, to be announced later in the year.
