2025 Booking Trends: Where’s hot so far
15.01.25 | OliverWith two full weeks of January now behind us, we have compiled a quick report to show the most popular destinations booked so far for the year ahead.
The most popular destinations booked so far this year are for summer holidays which continues the usual trend for this time of year. Italy, Greece and Spain are leading the pack followed by Croatia, Corsica and Madeira. Further afield, Australia, USA and Canada are leading the pack so far this year.
We are also seeing a lot of interest in Asia, from Thailand for city and beach stays to Vietnam and Cambodia for cultural tours and river cruises. Japan is also proving popular and we are currently arranging an in depth private tour of the country.
Cruises are always increasing in popularity, in particular those that require less flying. Celebrity are basing Apex in Southampton again this summer and the Norwegian itineraries are particularly of interest (see our Cruise of the Month below as an example).
We are also seeing some excellent prices onboard some of the 6* lines such as Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn and the new Explora Journeys for late spring/early summer around the Mediterranean for example.
Whilst it is only two weeks into the new year, sales are strong which continues the trend from October, November and December last year where we saw record booking figures.
Looking ahead, we expect short breaks to be popular as we approach Valentines and Easter and early summer holidays will hopefully bounce back as clients keep an eye on the weather which as we all know is getting warmer earlier.
