Barbados hotel guide
3.08.15 |This was my first visit to Barbados in the Caribbean and it was quickly easy to see why so many people return again and again. The flat, coral island has a really wide range of hotels and resorts for all tastes and budgets. My visit would concentrate on the luxury properties dotted around the island, each with their own style and character.
Of course there is the famous Sandy Lane Resort and Spa, with it’s iconic pink colour scheme, attracting well-known faces and a perfect spot to enjoy the beach and sunshine of Barbados while on your holiday. One thing that really stood out for me at Sandy Lane was the provisions for children with an excellent, interactive children’s club on offer, along with a beautifully landscaped pool area with waterfall and plenty of space.
Other properties that stood out on Barbados included Coral Reef, with its traditional villa-style accommodations dotted around its lush landscaped gardens. A beautiful spa and friendly welcome made this one of my favourite luxury hotels on the island of Barbados.
I was surprised to see the wide range of ages when I visited Colony Club, which had a number of younger honeymoon couples as well as older guests who told me they had been visited for many years.
The food at Cobblers Cove was exquisite and the newly refurbished beachfront Junior Suites at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, another iconic property, were handy for those who want direct access to the sand.
I visited a number of other properties too and would be delighted to discuss them further with you. Simply give us a call to plan your next luxury holiday to Barbados in the Caribbean.
