First post-lockdown family holiday to Croatia…

We were excited this week to hear back from the Crooks family to let us know what a fabulous time they had on their recent trip to Croatia staying at the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik. This was our first family away on their summer holiday to Croatia since lockdown and so it was wonderful to hear all went well and they had a great time!

We loved our visit to Croatia / Dubrovnik. Whilst we felt a little nervous about what it would be like in a Covid world, we were pleasantly surprised how normal it was. Yes- we had to wear face masks at times (on the flight, in taxis and during the breakfast buffet) but we soon got used to that and quickly carried on holiday as normal, throughly enjoying ourselves. With everything going in the world, it was great to get away, out of the same four walls and enjoy ourselves as a family!

I’d recommend visiting Croatia to anyone, even in the current times.

Thank you also to RB Collection. We had booked Tenerife with them when the quarantine situation happened, they quickly and diligently sorted out an alternative holiday in Croatia. I know so many people who had booked to go there who then had so much trouble and stress in making alternative plans. There was little effort and stress on us – as RB Collection took care of everything for us.

We had a lovely time. Dubrovnik was just stunning, we loved it there and we shall certainly return again soon hopefully. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for sorting the private transfers, that was very kind of you. The Rixos was fantastic, recently refurbed, it was just perfect for us. I would certainly return and would like to try out other Rixos properties as well – very stylish, friendly and luxury accommodation.

Travelling was better than expected to be honest. Jet2 were great – no hassle, on time, Covid compliant. It’s not great wearing the masks through the airport and on the flight etc, but a small price to pay. We know travelling at the moment is a risk, but on this occasion it was definitely one worth taking and we are very grateful to you and Nathan for making it possible.

There were not many English travellers. Birmingham airport was obviously significantly quieter than usual. In Croatia there were fewer English than we expected.
