From the RB Family Archive: Commemorating VE Day

We took another look through the archives this week and came across a lovely collection showing Oliver’s grandfather, William (second from the right) from 1944 in Paris. To commemorate VE Day we thought we would share them with you.

We are researching his exact role in the war and have also found photographs taken all over Canada in the 1940’s which we have started archiving.

William, or Len as he was known, was a keen traveller and returned to Canada in later life. It was a passion that was passed onto Cheryl and now Oliver.
