Aman Sveti Stefan

This beautiful historic hotel offers lots of privacy with 58 cottages and suites. It is one of the most exclusive resorts in this part of Europe and we can personally highly recommend it.

Just a few miles outside of the main resort of the Budva Rivera or a 20 minute walk away, the hotel is linked by a strip of land and is one of the most famous landmarks in Montenegro.

The cottage style accommodations are built from original fisherman’s cottages and are very spacious, including large bathrooms.  No two rooms are the same, some have walk-in showers, sea views and terraces.

For larger groups, Villa Miločer has 8 rooms all with balconies with views over the sea towards Sveti Stefan or the gardens. This would ideally suit a multi-generational family or groups looking for an exclusive separate accommodation still with the facilities of the resort.

A number of suites on the Island can be ‘interconnecting’, some with 2 bedrooms and private terraces.

Legend has it, the island was originally built to defend against the Turks and became a haven for pirates of the Adriatic.  It then became a fishing village for 12 families in the 1800’s, eventually becoming a village with a population of 400 with 4 churches.  Villa Miločer built between 1934 – 1936 as the summer residence of the Queen.
