The Iberostar Selection Anthelia has a great location with stunning views in Costa Adeje on the island of Tenerife. It is perfect for families as well as couples, and the adjoining Grand Hotel Salome offers a special VIP area with its own suites.
The overall impression here is of spaciousness, with extensive communal areas, large swimming pool areas and beautiful, well-groomed gardens.
The hotel is on the seafront between the beaches of Playa del Duque and Playa de Fanabe. Its central location makes it perfect for couples wanting easy access to nearby restaurants and bars, and the high levels of comfort and great personal service make it ideal for families.
There is a spa offering numerous treatments, plus a well-run children’s club and a range of dining options, including a buffet restaurant, a gourmet restaurant, and an Italian a la carte restaurant.
The hotel also incorporates the JOIA Salomé by Iberostar, which is an adult-only area of suites with an exclusive pool, snack bar and breakfast area.
You have the option of all-inclusive board, or half-board, with buffet meals, lunch at the beach barbecue restaurant, snacks served from 10am to 6pm, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks served from 10am to 1am.

We are just back from Tenerife, and had a great week, so thanks to RB Collection for all their inputs. All the logistics of travel, transfers etc went very smoothly.
We have been several times to Anthelia, and it was good to see it all in good condition and still superbly maintained. Staff service was generally excellent and it was a pleasure to see so many well-trained youngsters. The hotel was absolutely full but still able to cope, and there were many English and other families with children so half-term holidays were underway. Costa Adeje has also raised it’s game dramatically, and especially the restaurants and bars that we used. Overall Adeje was clean and tidy, and bustling, although the expensive shops are an exception to that !!
A lovely, large five-star resort offering a good standard of accommodation and exceptional facilities that will appeal to couples and families alike. It is set in the heart of Costa Adeje, and has numerous good restaurants on its doorstep, making it a firm favourite with our clients. We highly recommend the newly refurbished seaview suites for some added luxury.
