The Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa, which is part of the prestigious Jumeirah group, is dramatically perched on a hill-top, with enviable views over the picturesque bay of Puerto de Soller in Mallorca.
There are 11 buildings set into the hillside, connected by walkways and passages, housing 120 guest rooms and suites. Facilities include two spectacular pools set among scented gardens, and the Talise Spa, which offers spacious treatment suites and a hydro pool.
There is an all-day buffet restaurant and a separate restaurant serving regional cuisine, plus the fantastic Sunset Lounge, which is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and amazing views over the bay and port.
The area is great for outdoor activities, including hiking, trekking, mountain biking and climbing.
Not all facilities are complimentary and some are subject to seasonal demand.
Hotel facilities: interconnecting rooms, rooms suitable for people with disabilities, fitness room, gymnasium, spa/wellness centre, kids’ club (supervised), babysitting, outdoor heated pool, outdoor pool, wi-fi in public areas, steam room, sauna
Located on a cliff side with the best views Port de Soller has to offer, the Jumeriah hotel is the most luxurious hotel in the town, if not the whole of Majorca. I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the outdoor terrace before sampling the spa and fantastic swimming pools. My top tip at this hotel would be to opt for a room with a mountain view – the dramatic Tramuntana mountains are a truly magnificent sight to wake up to. And for sea views, you will not find any better than at the Sunset Sushi Lounge at dusk – the perfect setting for cocktails with friends and family.
