The Ashbee

This Taormina hotel, designed by celebrated Arts and Crafts architect Charles Robert Ashbee in 1907, combines excellent accommodation, a central location, and fantastic views from its terraces and gardens.

The interior is a mix of Sicilian and English styles, with parquet flooring, marble finishes, chandeliers, and a combination of contemporary and antique furniture.

The hotel’s pool has an idyllic setting in immaculate gardens, with outstanding views of the coast and the Ionian sea – perfect under the Sicilian sun.

Rooms and suites are decorated in a classically elegant way, with fine fabrics and furnishings, and St George restaurant offers excellent dining. The Roof Garden also serves aperitifs, and offers stunning views.

The hotel’s central location puts Taormina’s cultural attractions within easy reach, including the ancient Greek Roman Theatre, and a range of great restaurants.

Not all facilities are complimentary and some are subject to seasonal demand.
