Middle East Update

Dear RB Family,
We are saddened to see the events unfold in the Middle East and our thoughts are with our friends and colleagues on the ground who have been impacted. We proactively contact all clients with trips booked in the near future to, or via the region to discuss options and make alternative plans if needed.
Clients are continuing on holidays to the Far East and Australasia on alternative flight routes whilst the FCDO continues to advise agianst all but essential travel to the UAE. Whilst there is disruption in some parts of the Middle East, holidays are continuing elsewhere.
We appreciate events such as these bring increased concern about travel. We have extensive experience of handling disruption so please be assured if you have a trip booked with us, you are in good hands. You may wish to read our blog on this topic here.
This week, the FCDO has lifted travel advice for Israel & Jordan and so holidays can now continue to these countries and your travel insurance policies should be valid. However, we always advise clients to re-check this with your provider to be sure. The FCDO advise to the UAE has not changed as yet and so we do not advise traveling there as your insurance will most likely be invalid.
If you are due to travel to the affected areas with us beyond August please bear with us whilst we investigate options and contact clients in departure date order. There is no need to contact us, we will contact you as soon as we have an update. Part of our service is to ensure you are well looked after before, during and after travel so do not worry, we are here for you.
