Watch: RB’s Travel Talk – Episode 2: The New Normal

29.07.20 | Oliver

Our 2nd Travel Talk episode took place live this time  as we discussed the ‘new normal’ in the world of holidays.

Oliver interviewed travel industry experts about their own personal experience having recently traveled abroad, as well as from the holiday organisations themselves responsible for your safety and enjoyment whilst away.

This is sure to be an interesting session as we all learn more about the new normal of taking a holiday.

Speaker details:

OLIVER, RB COLLECTION
Our Joint MD, Oliver, will be interviewing our guests to get to the bottom of the ‘new normal’. Oliver flew during lockdown himself back to Barcelona and along with Nathan has been working hard to re-arrange many holidays. It will be interesting to gather questions and quiz our guests on the new holiday experience.

CHRIS WRIGHT, SUNVIL
As MD at Sunvil, there isn’t anything about operating holidays and charter flights that Chris doesn’t know. Sunvil were in fact the first UK holiday company to fly to Corfu in the 1970’s and we look forward to hearing from Chris about the current status of holiday operations, and the preparations put in place around Greece to welcome visitors back.

CARLA JESUS MIRANDA, REID’S PALACE, MADEIRA
Carla works in Madeira as Senior Sales Manager at the iconic Reid’s Palace, a favourite of our clients which has just re-opened. Most do not realise, Madeira is on the ‘can visit’ list and Carla will talk us through specific measures being put in place at the hotel to make sure your stay is safe and enjoyable.

MARY ANN PICKFORD, TTG
Mary Ann works at one of the travel industry’s leading trade publications, TTG (Travel Trade Gazette) and recently flew to the island of Corfu as one of the first visitors from the UK since lockdown. We will hear about Mary Ann’s travel experience from the flight to arrival, hotel and resort – what is it like to go on holiday right now?
