The American Queen – Mississippi River Tour

With this tour you will experience the Mississippi River on board the only authentic overnight paddlewheel steamboat in America. You will sail from Memphis to New Orleans on a 7 night voyage with two pre–cruise nights in Memphis and two post–cruise nights in New Orleans. The tour includes return international flights, 7 nights on board the “American Queen Voyage”, 4 nights hotel accommodation and all port charges.

Your itineraries will give you the option to explore the Upper and Lower Mississippi River, Ohio and Tennessee. You also have the option to join exciting shore excursions that let you indulge into the history and culture of America’s heartland.

The American Queen Voyage
The largest steamboat ever built, the grand American Queen is a gracious and elegant triumph of American ingenuity. Combining the best of the old and the new, this beautiful lady of the river epitomises the grace and the grandeur that has made river–boating a cherished American tradition for more than two centuries. Glistening woodwork, fresh flowers and antiques adorn the interior spaces.

While on board you can sample the acclaimed cuisine of celebrated American chefs or dine in one of the other multiple specialty dining options on offer. As history plays such a large part of your cruise experience, a river historian is onboard for each voyage to impart the history and lore of the river on which you are cruising. Night after magical night, top entertainers bring down the house in the majestic Grand Saloon. The palatial Grand Saloon is two decks tall and resembles the small town opera houses of the 19th Century.
