Day one and two – UK / Melbourne
Board an overnight flight from the UK to Australia.

Day three – Melbourne
You will be met by an A&K guide on arrival and transferred by private vehicle to the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, for your three-night stay. This afternoon, join the entertaining city dweller, historian, curator and raconteur, Kenneth W Park for your own private walk through the heart of ‘Marvellous Melbourne’.

Day four – Melbourne / Great Ocean Road
Today you will travel down the beautiful coastline of the Great Ocean Road. Experience the temperate rainforest as you walk among the magnificent splendour of the gigantic trees. You will be able to see koalas in the wild and embark on a rainforest walk. After lunch, visit the Otway National Park and then onto the Port Campbell National Park where you will see the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, before returning to Melbourne for the night.

Day five – Melbourne
Today is yours to enjoy. You could visit the Mornington Peninsula or the Dandenongs which can be combined with a trip to see the penguins at Phillip Island. There is plenty to explore in Melbourne and its wonderful surrounds.

Day six – Melbourne / Adelaide
This morning you will be transferred by private vehicle to Melbourne airport for your flight to Adelaide. On arrival your A&K guide will take you on a two hour sightseeing tour of Adelaide en route to your hotel, the InterContinental Adelaide. The afternoon remains at leisure for you to relax at your hotel or to discover some of the delights of Adelaide on foot.

Day seven – Adelaide
Today is at leisure, we recommend a day tour to Kangaroo Island that includes seeing the Seal Bay Conservation Park, Koala Avenue, the Rocky River – headquarters of Flinders Chase National Park, and home to a variety of Australian native animals and birds, including kangaroos and Cape Barren geese. Alternatively, enjoy the day exploring the city of Adelaide or take a tour to the Barossa Wine Region and taste some of Australia’s best wine.

Day eight – Adelaide / Uluru
This morning you will be transferred to Adelaide airport for your flight to Ayers Rock. Upon arrival, transfer from the airport to your hotel by the resort shuttle. Check into the Desert Gardens Hotel for your one-night stay. This afternoon you will have an afternoon tour to Uluru, travel through the landscape as the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country.

Day nine – Uluru / Palm Cove
An early start, but one definitely worth getting out of bed early for. Departing the resort, your tour will travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. On arrival at the viewing area you walk to the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the sun’s morning glow as the desert comes alive. Enjoy a morning picnic breakfast before transferring back to the resort for your afternoon flight to Cairns. On arrival in Cairns you will be transferred to the picturesque seaside village of Palm Cove, half way between Cairns and Port Douglas, staying at the Reef House Hotel for three nights.

Day 10 – Palm Cove / Great Barrier Reef
Today you will experience a full day tour to the Great Barrier Reef. Travel to the Outer Barrier Reef from Cairns to the reef activity platforms moored in protective lagoons on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Lying within the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, this section of the Great Barrier Reef is renowned for its water clarity and coral formations. The reef is ideal for swimming and snorkelling and is among the best in the world.

Day 11 – Palm Cove
A day to relax in Palm Cove at your resort or take the opportunity to explore some more delights in tropical north Queensland, such as to Kuranda or the Daintree National Park.

Day 12 – Palm Cove / Sydney
In the morning, you will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney. Upon arrival, you will meet your driver for your private transfer to Park Royal Darling Harbour for a three-night stay. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore Darling Harbour.

Day 13 – Sydney
This morning you will have a comprehensive half day tour of Sydney. You will see The Rocks area, the Royal Botanic Gardens with a great view from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Continue along beautiful bays such as Watsons Bay, Tamarama and Bronte Beach until you reach the famous Bondi Beach for some time to relax and enjoy a coffee. You will then drive back to the city through trendy Paddington and Oxford Street, then Chinatown and Darling Harbour.

Day 14 – Sydney
Today is at your leisure. Adventurers may choose to climb the Harbour Bridge, go sea kayaking or take a cruise around this world-famous harbour. Other options include leaving the city to travel to the magnificent Blue Mountains or enjoying a wine tour at Hunter Valley.

Day 15 – Sydney / UK
Your adventure comes to an end today as you are transferred to Sydney airport in a private vehicle to board your international flight home.
