Coronavirus Travel Information10.10.20 | Nathan
This are unprecedented times we find ourselves in and we would like to thank all our clients for their understanding whilst we deal with affected bookings. It is not exactly how we expected to celebrate our 35th year in business, but you can relax knowing you are in professional hands and we will continue to take care of you and your requirements.
Our retail area is open for appointments which you can book online here or by emailing us here or calling 01543 258631. There is currently building work taking place around our office but you can still access our front door. Our new trading hours are 0900-1700hrs, Monday to Friday (closed weekends and bank holidays).
Thanks to everyone who have sent us words of support, you can join in on our Facebook page here: facebook.com/rbcollectionuk.
We have provided the below information to help put your mind at rest that you are in good hands. The whole industry is working with a hugely reduced work force and so the normal speeds at which tasks can be actioned can be much slower than we would like. We are very grateful therefore for your patience in advance.
If you have any queries whatsoever do not hesitate to contact us via the usual methods.
We are open as usual for new bookings and so feel free to contact us via our normal channels.
If you have booked a holiday with us, you can relax knowing that you are in safe hands and we will contact you to discuss the options open to you. There is no need to contact us, we are working through departures in date order and will contact you as soon as we have an update for you. Not all holidays are being cancelled as there are air corridors set up by the government and we will be able to help advise on this. You can view the latest travel updates here.
We are currently working around 2-4 weeks ahead of departure and we thank you for your patience. The point at which we have an update can vary depending on cruise company, airline or tour operator.
As travel is starting to re-commence, balance payments will be required by the due date on your paperwork.
Decisions regarding the cancellation of holidays due to government advice depends on the holiday booked. For example, cruise lines make decisions quite far in advance whereas some airlines up to 2 weeks before departure. A good guideline is 2-4 weeks before departure as the government review their advice weekly. Should the government advise against travel to your destination we will contact you within two weeks of departure to discuss your options. If you are affected by local lockdowns in your region please contact us and we can discuss options with you.
As a member of ABTA, we are following their advice regarding protecting consumer rights, supporting the industry and our business so we can best serve you in the future. If you have a holiday booked with us we kindly ask you read their consumer advice page here. This is updated on a regular basis. You can also access the FCO travel advice page here.

Thank you for your kind words!
It has certainly been a challenging time, however we are very grateful to have an amazing team onboard to look after our clients. We would also like to thank our clients for their very kind words of support which have been coming in thick and fast, here is the latest email we received…
‘Nathan, Thanks again…I’ve thought from the very beginning of this, how businesses handle themselves during the situation will be their future, or not. Customers will be loyal to businesses, who are loyal & fair to them. We will reach the other side, though it may be different, & let’s hope better. Our family, have nothing but praise for all your efforts & that of your team. I know how hard it is to keep faith in business sometimes. Please do keep faith, you have great customer support.’
