Dear Friends,
We are writing to you on this gloomy Saturday afternoon offering a glimpse of hope as we launch our ‘Need something to look forward to?’ campaign.
International travel has been brought to a complete standstill by government measures to contain the Covid-19 pandemic which is having a serious knock on effect on communities at home and abroad.
From those involved in arranging your wonderful trips, to our colleagues at the airport ensuring you safely depart, to the drivers, tour guides, gift shop owners, restaurateurs, farmers and food producers and even charities relying on support from hoteliers and tour companies.
We could all do with something to look forward to right now and so we simply ask: don’t cancel, postpone.
Around 80% of our clients affected by travel restrictions have so far agreed to do this and we are truly grateful on behalf of all those involved. We will continue to work hard to look after all our clients and thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we work in unprecedented times.
We would like to remind you our CV-19 information page is available here. For clients departing soon, we will contact you 14 days before departure at the latest. If you are due to pay for a future holiday, we will contact you on the day your payment is due if not beforehand. This will most likely be put back to a later date to give more time for us to be notified about the status of the trip.
As well as administering the postponement of your trips, we have also been working on fresh content for our blog and social media channels as well as bringing our popular client events to you at home.
