The celebration returns to Lajatico, Tuscany — renewed and twice as grand: one name, Bocelli, a symbol of Italy’s most beloved vocal tradition; two artists, Andrea and Matteo; two generations on the stage of the 21st edition of the Teatro del Silenzio, on July 21 and July 23, 2026.
As a beloved tradition eagerly awaited worldwide, the next iconic Teatro del Silenzio takes shape under the Tuscan sky. Following another sold-out edition, the two-night event is confirmed, with each evening led by one of the Bocellis on the stage of the celebrated open-air theatre in Lajatico.
Building on his growing success — already well established overseas and now firmly consolidated across Europe — Matteo Bocelli will host the July 21 concert, bringing to the stage his second album, Falling in Love, released worldwide only a few days ago on Decca Records and already the focus of a U.S. and European tour. The Teatro del Silenzio will be his only Italian date in 2026.
“The response to my debut performance was such an unexpected and wonderful surprise that I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to take on this challenge again — and to present my new album Falling in Love to my Italian audience,” says Matteo Bocelli. “I’m sure it will be another unique and special evening, and I hope to sing the new songs together with the audience, alongside some of the timeless classics everyone loves.”
Maestro Andrea Bocelli will then take the stage on July 23 for a special evening celebrating the 30th anniversary of Romanza — the 1996 album that includes songs which have earned their place in music history and in the soundtrack of millions of lives around the world.
“Romanza” will therefore be both the cornerstone and emblem of Andrea Bocelli’s Teatro del Silenzio evening — a word of timeless resonance, steeped in heroism, love, and adventure that transcends the many arts it encompasses. In music, it becomes a synonym for emotion, lyricism, and heartfelt immediacy.
Each romanza speaks to the soul — a narrative in melody, much like the iconic songs from the eponymous album, which, over the past thirty years, has encapsulated and brought to the world stage Andrea Bocelli’s incomparable talent. Compositions such as Time to Say Goodbye, Vivo per lei, Il mare calmo della sera, Vivere, Miserere, and many others together constitute a masterpiece. This musical project retains the unchallenged record as the best-selling album of all time by an Italian artist.
“It was the springboard — the calling card of my international career,” explains Maestro Bocelli. “But for me, Romanza is also, and above all, the compendium of my personal and artistic story — a piece of my heart that, thanks to the miracle of music, I have been able to share with the world. The holiday was so well organised by RB Collection from booking, to comprehensive information prior to travelling, arrangements for transfers and standard of transport. The hotel was ideally situated right next to Ponte Vecchio making it ideal to reach all major places of interest within easy walking distance. The Andrea Boccelli concert was spectacular, set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. It was an experience we will never forget. Everything from RB Collection exceeded expectations.
